Single Expansion Anchors can be used in concrete, block, brick and stone. The heavy duty mechanical anchor consists of a set of expansion shields and an expander cone. The product is manufactured from zinc alloy. As the anchor is tightened, the cone gets drawn into the expansion shield which compresses them against the base material. This product is not recommended in overhead applications.
